We must address the issue to the satisfaction of the people of Pakistan and the world community. If we don't, the people of Pakistan will suffer. Politicians just enjoy their corruption, the Ministers their positions, Diplomats their perks, Government Officers their salaries. Who is going to do something and work and do justice to what they are being paid for. Our problem was Kashmir, not Afghanistan. If we are double crossing, it is not to our advantage. Why are we putting our neck for someone else who are never ever going to be grateful. Note and remember this when Nato leaves.

I am talking of Hina Rabbani Khar - the Foreign Minister whose only credentials is her feudalism and Ms Sherry Rahman's credentials the consistent loyalty not exactly to the country but the party, one who chose to stick on despite all rejections. Nuclear scientists are always kept under wraps as state secrets. That is what all civilized nations do. Do you know the nuclear scientists of Israel, South Africa, Russia, UK, France, USA, India and so on? No. If somebody says yes, he has extremely little or no knowledge. Where was the need for us to make a hero of a scientist, swell his head and expose him like this? I am amazed he flew to Dubai that year 48 times. There are only 52 weeks in an year.

He was lucky Musharraf was at the helm then, that he did not hand him over, shudder to think what other govts. could have done. Now this expose. This whole AQK saga sucks.

Afia Siddiqui given 86 years...

The US judges should take suo moto action against some one who destroyed an entire country and killed over a million people and over 10,000 Americans on falsehood!
I am not here to discuss what Afia did or didn't. I know so little about it that it is not wise to comment on it. But I have faith in the US Justice System and I am sure in the end it will do justice and it usually does. However much the feelings may be inflamed in Pakistan and the rest of the world we must not come to conclusions without evidence. The administration and the justice system is there to protect the lives of Americans and give them security. Surely they are doing their job. I am not here to interfere with their duties nor to defend Afia Siddiqui.

My plea to the US justice department is entirely different. I am sure The Honorable Judges sitting on the benches know that the bulk of US population and the world was against the invasion of Iraq as there was no conclusive proof of weapons of mass destruction, yet Mr. George Bush egged on by Tony Blair, for their personal satisfaction and the satisfaction of a few invaded a country, brought it upon it knees and killed over a million people. Surely this crime is far greater than what ever Afia may or may not have done. She did not kill a million people yet she got 86 years. Again I am not pleading her case even on compassion!

One wonders how many years should George Bush get by the same Judges by the same token for killing over a million people and destroying a whole country, a civilisation, a culture, a heritage and every thing. He will have to be born a million times to get his full term. Oronically he is not even arrested nor any case brought against him.

I think the peace loving good folks of US must go to the courts and try the President who blundered heavily and caused misery to so many millions the world over. Are the judges and the people in the world listening? If yes, do something now!

Hillary floors media persons yet again...

Hillary was prepared while our journalists weren't...

The difference was so obvious. Our guys and galls neither asked the right questions nor countered an argument however poorly replied. This is the second time she has done it. Earlier when she was here she nailed Talat Hussain this time almost all were floored particularly Meher of Dunya TV.

When spoken about water she took out her notes and countered it with most inefficient use of water in Pakistan and our people had not done their home work to tell her madam how efficient we are or not does not allow India to abrogate The Indus River Water Treaty. We just don't talk on right lines.

On Kashmir she was very categorical and adopted the Indian point of view. Our media gurus did not tell her, madam on one side you talk of war on terror and on the other side you ignore the basic issues that become the cause of it. You do not remind her of the atrocities that the army does on innocent unarmed people in Kashmir. Our journalists seemed to have been too enamored by her. They were treating her like a boss.

They did not tell her US and India talk so much of democracy why then a democratic solution is not on the card for the poor Kashmiris. Let them decide their own fate.

On Civil Nuclear Deal we again did not frame our questions right. Only Abbas asked one unrelated to Pakistan but a good question on 9/11 but she gave a very bad reply. She was not countered by saying when you drive people back to the walls for 50 years and when they want a democratic solution you use 7o vetoes to defend the tormentor.

This is in no way defending the accused who has been the cause of so much of misery in the Muslim world.

When US cannot solve our problems why should we cooperate?

I sometimes wonder if these people know what is India up to. They do not know that India is nothing but a Police State. They believe in aggression and use of force. Our attempt to negotiate must not be viewed as a sign of weakness. India has just been put on the watch list also which it has been escaping for so long despite its terrible record of discrimination and pogroms over its minorities particularly the Muslims. What this Assistant Secretary does not know that we won't be able to keep on listening to the dictates of US if US is not serious about helping Pakistan with its core issues. The big issue is Kashmir which India is holding against the wishes of its people. They talk of democracy which is the will of the majority. Then why don't they insist for a Democratic Solution? Is democracy is too much to ask for?

The Asst Sec. must know India's record of aggression always on false pretexts. It went and conquered Hyderabad against the wishes of its people just because the legal ruler was a Muslim. But the free will of the people was never ascertained because they knew full well they will vote for the immensely popular Government of Hyderabad. It illegally blockaded a land locked country and sent in army and air force to conquer a totally peaceful state. Similarly it attacked Kashmir on totally contradictory premise. It invaded Junagarh and took over, same with Daman and Deu. It dismembered Pakistan in 1971. So much for its designs on its neighbours. And you have a strategic partnership with an aggressor and flouter of UN Resolutions.

And US wants to say not a word to India leave alone force it. It is high time Pakistan will have to take its own decisions and when we do that it might not be to your liking. As a sole Super Power you must help us with Kashmir issue before it is too late. For God's sake improve your image in this area and this is a good way of doing it. This will also stem any tide of terrorism that is likely to increase with problems simmering and people suffering under Indian occupation for so so long. It is the responsiblity of the Powers that be to solve these problems and not drag and drift endlessly. I hope US is listening.

First seal the borders so that Taliban don't enter Pakistan...

US strike in Aghanistan may cause more problems in Pakistan...

US is trying in Afghanistan since 2001. The results are not at all satisfactory. Russia lost and UK never succeeded in ruling them.

Now hopefully they are going with a winning strategy. Whatever you do make sure you do not let Taliban get into Pakistan where already there is a huge problem. Army personnel are dying and more and more IDPs are created. Taliban in Pakistan are not getting caught and we don't know if how many are dying.

Their strategy has always been when in trouble just disperse and disappear just to re-group and take on the army another day. What ever you do please do a good job if you can, otherwise simply leave and do development. Right now they have nothing to loose. Once developed they will know what they will loose if they go back to their old ways.

First secure the borders before you go full blast in Afghanistan.

Anti American feelings, think well before you take sides...

Allah rewards those who think hard, work hard and are committed, not the ignorant and the lazy...
Anti American feeling? These Islamists should think again. Don't they know that Allah is just. He rewards only those who understand the ways of the world and take actions accordingly. We are suffering for the inaction or the misdeeds of The Arab World.

Only after I read The Seven Pillars of Wisdom by T.E.Lawrence and The Desert King by David Howarth did I understand how easily Israel was created. Read and you will know how they acted like pawns in the hands of The British to throw Turks out. Once that was accomplished it was easy to make Israel.

Now Jews are a smart people. They work hard and first they research, think and then plan hard. They have invested hundred years on USA and also UK. They cultivated the minds of five generations and continue to do so.

If these Islamists wanted to do any thing they should first understand how the world works.

It rests on three pillars. The core power to be used as a deterrence, diplomacy most of the time and media 24x7 all the time. Do they do it? No.

Remember none of this terrorism will ever make a policy change. Things will get worse and worse each time. What will work is a long term persuasive effort.

USA had not invaded a single Muslim country untill 9/11. Take a good look at history. Had these terrorists done something to change matters of their own countries things could have been a lot better. They had no brains.

How could they when they were a product of a society that is not allowed to think independently and where there is no culture of learning, debates and difference of opinion. They have closed minds and can never think out of the box.

Please do not assume I am in any way supporting the aggressive actions of the present US regime and the way they totally unnecessarily went into Iraq and destroyed a whole country. For that USA must pay 5 trillion dollars to Iraq and Mr. Bush tried like in the Nurenberg trial. If the world does not do this then they are no different than the same terrorists that are responsible for 9/11.

Yet there is no need to be anti-American, there is a lot of good there and good people, however bad and foolish the present regime is.

For Pakistanis please do not die for these Arabs thinking they are Muslims. These Najadis do not even even consider you as Muslims. Do not die for them please.
